Honored at the New Hampshire State House

On May 7, 2014, the JROTC unit of Fall Mountain, their teachers and I were invited to visit the State of New Hampshire House of Representatives. At the opening of the Session at the State House in Concord that day, an Honor Guard of the cadets presented the Colors and they were mentioned and honored to be chosen to represent New Hampshire during the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy in June 2014.
During our visit I got the opportunity to present the book “Cadets” to the Speaker of the House, Terie Norelli; to Govenor Maggie Hassan and to New Hampshire State Senator Molly Kelly. We also toured the State House, the oldest state capitol building of the United States.
